Each photograph contains traces of personal memory and sensation, yet none unfolds into a complete narrative. Individually, the images evoke atmosphere, color, texture, and emotion. Together, they resemble fragments of a sentence that cannot be fully read. While they suggest connections, they resist a singular meaning, remaining suspended between interpretation and sensation.
The work explores how certain experiences persist after their original contexts have disappeared. Rather than communicating a fixed story, the photographs function like the lingering feeling left behind after reading a poem. The nine images attempt to form a sentence, yet remain ultimately unreadable, revealing a state that exists between meaning and sensation.
읽히지 않는 문장이 되어는 일상 속에서 마주한 풍경과 공간, 사물들을 담은 9점의 사진으로 구성된다. 이 이미지들은 특정 대상을 설명하거나 기록하기 위한 것이 아니라, 무심히 지나치지 못하고 오래 머물렀던 순간들에서 출발한다. 일상의 흔적들은 현실의 재현이 아닌 감각의 파편으로 존재한다.
각각의 사진은 사적인 기억과 감각을 품고 있지만, 하나의 서사로 완결되지 않는다. 개별 이미지는 분위기와 색감, 질감과 정서를 불러일으키지만, 아홉 개의 이미지를 함께 마주했을 때 그것들은 마치 읽히지 않는 문장의 조각처럼 남는다. 이미지들은 서로 연결되는 듯 보이지만 하나의 의미로 수렴되지 않으며, 해석과 감각 사이를 머문다.
이 작업은 원래의 맥락이 사라진 이후에도 남아 있는 경험의 방식을 탐구한다. 사진들은 특정한 이야기를 전달하기보다 시를 읽고 난 뒤 남는 정서처럼 작동한다. 아홉 개의 이미지는 하나의 문장이 되기를 시도하지만 끝내 완전히 읽히지 않으며, 의미와 감각 사이에 존재하는 상태를 드러낸다.
