OverviewSome experiences continue to inhabit the body long after they have passed. Like a lingering aftereffect or a phantom pain, they persist within perception, subtly reshaping how sensations are received and processed.
ㅁ emerges from such a condition. Following a profound experience of loss, perception no longer arrives with immediacy. The world is not grasped all at once but approaches gradually, filtered through delay, distance, and lingering sensation.
The video appears almost motionless. No dramatic event unfolds, and no narrative progression takes place. Instead, subtle shifts in light, focus, and atmosphere become perceptible over time. Through this restrained image, the work reflects a body that can no longer respond to the world at its expected pace.
What matters in this work is not the representation of loss itself, but the altered state of perception that remains in its aftermath. The image unfolds slowly, visualizing a sensory condition in which the world continues to arrive, but never quite in the same way as before.
